Project Quality Manager

Job Responsibilities: 

•    Create a safe work environment through preventive methods and expert support.
•    Create a quality focused culture across project execution.
•    Facilitate an environment that delivers right first time to quality, schedule, and cost.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to create and deliver improvements to product and processes that minimise the cost of poor quality.
•    Facilitate a shift from quality control to quality assurance.
•    Lead QM function in execution including directing team leads.
•    Facilitate optimised growth of the quality function.
•    Define, implement, and verify measures that prevent reoccurrence of historical non-conformances.
•    Effectively identify and mitigate risks that cause unplanned costs.
•    Provide transparency of QM Performance
•    Provide visibility of improvement activities through comprehensive root case analysis and implementation of corrective actions
•    Active engagement with other functions to ensure continuous improvement of quality and addressing of issues along the value stream.
•    Collaborate with other business quality streams to ensure QMS compliance and improvement.
•    Be an integral part of the Management Team
•    Strong knowledge of highly regulated industries 
•    Experience in managing large multi-functional teams and experience in leading leaders.
•    Experience of transforming strategic quality objectives into successfully executed actions.
•    Commercial acumen in translating quality improvements into the achievement of financial objectives
•    Ability to recognise and implement appropriate quality commitment criteria and methodologies to maintain accurate and complete records maintaining configuration control across the project scope.

 

Required Qualifications: 

•    Degree educated in relevant: quality, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering subject.
•    Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience in a similar role in a regulated industry/construction environment
•    Experience of quality systems ISO 9001 and ISO 19443
•    Ability to use MS Office Suite

 

Required Experience: 

•    Proven track record in large scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector preferred but all transferrable skills considered.
•    Experienced in delivering and operating at a Leadership Level ideally on major EPC projects.
•    Experience of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D, CAPA
