Mobile Elevated Working Platform Manager

BYLOR are recruiting for a Mobile Elevated Working Platform Manager to work with them on the Hinkley Point C Project.


Key Duties :

 

  • Manage Bylor's MEWP Fleet setting industry leading compliance standards to ensure all site based MEWP coordinators and operators are briefed with all the latest safety regulations and best practice. Monitor MEWP utilisation to maximise efficiency of assets, identify lazy assets for redeployment as required. Develop MEWP coordinators by establishing regular minuted meetings to ensure learning is shared. Maintain the Motion Compliance database with our partner to ensure we are compliant for all inspections. Develop relationships with project team to ensure we are using the right assets across the project whilst developing industry leading safe operations.
  • Asset compliance is paramount for all Bylor operated MEWPS.
  • Sharing knowledge across the whole project through various mediums.
  • Asset tracking and utilization to improve efficiencies and minimize rehire equipment.
  • Managing MEWP coordinators to ensure best practice observed.
  • Establish maintenance records for assets. 
  • Establish safe working practices, including reviewing and writing of RAMS and VTS where necessary. Project planning by coordinating with the team to ensure right equipment is identified for the task.
  • Develop and communicate KPI's across project team.


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Knowledge of MEWPS and construction activities
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and LOLER regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Project management and organisational skills paramount
