The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.

Working within the Soft Services and must be a highly motivated individual working as part of the Soft Services team delivering key support across the delivery functions on the Hinkley Point C contract, the largest construction site in Europe.To work as part of a wider team of Housekeepers, adopting a 'Flow Cleaning' approach to service delivery.To maintain an exceptionally high standard of cleaning across the HPC site.Within the HPC project agreement are Key Performance Indicators aligned to this service for which the post holder will be responsible.

 

This is an exciting time to join the team at Hinkley Point C, just 2 years into our 10 year Contract.  Two days are rarely the same, with an extremely diverse task list in a rapidly changing construction environment.

 

The Housekeeping Operative role is 39 hours per week.  Shift pattern will alternate between a week of early shifts and a week of late shifts.
 Early Pattern: Monday - Thursday hours 05:30-14:00, Friday hours 05:30-13:00,

Late Pattern: Monday - Thursday hours 13:30-22:00, Friday Hours 12:30-20:00

 

Saturday hours 0800-1700 and Sunday hours 0800-1600  and some vacancies for Late Shifts only.

 

Job Responsibilities:
• To support the housekeeping Team Lead in the organisation of the cleaning schedules and work patterns for the individual flow team within which you will work
• Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in a manner consistent with good Health & Safety Practice (eg. colour coding)
• Maintaining the stock of cleaning materials required by the flow team within which you work.
• To embrace the vision of a 'Cleaning Structure' and demonstrate this to your colleagues
• To provide appropriate care and maintenance for the materials and equipment they use to carry out their duties
• To ensure that cleaning in your area of responsibility is conducted to the highest possible standard contributing towards our aim of a being a leader in the field of Cleaning Services.
• To ensure that at all times, the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company
• To attend training as and when required
• To ensure that you are adhering to the contracts uniform policy, wearing appropriate Personal protective Equipment (PPE) to carry out the various duties.
• To support with the duties other 'Housekeeping Teams' as outlined within the 'HPC Structure'

Terms and Conditions:

  • Salary: £19,573.07
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Weekly Hours: 39 hours
