An opportunity has been created for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer.



In this role your remit will include;

  • The creation and implementation of electrical design solutions for all Building Services and associated systems.
  • Ensure the integration, technical assurance, compliance, health and safety, sustainability of design and engineering to enable a compliant handover.
  • Ensure regular flow of information to meet the requirements of CDM.
  • Be a part of the electrical design team to provide robust design solutions for 400Vac/110Vac distribution, lighting, sockets, and plant equipment supplies, along with fire alarm & detection systems and general support solutions.
  • Create documentation such as: specifications, datasheets, calculations, schedules and drawings.
  • Review vendor documentation for electrical compliance with project specifications.
  • Support the Design Manager and contribute to design/construction reviews & sign off.
  • Prepare all relevant risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant technical consultants and suppliers, ensuring technical support is provided as required


In addition, it would also be beneficial to have a strong knowledge of all relevant industry codes and responsibilities within CDM regulations.
