Discipline and database lead
MEH Alliance 

 

 

Accountabilities:    
•    Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership and support to their department throughout the whole construction life cycle whilst supporting a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
•    Manage the interface from Civil Completions to MEHJV Completions
•    Manage day to day activities of the Completions database
•    Provide training to new users
•    Control access rights of new users
•    Manage Vendor and partners IT in the rollout of updates/improvements to the system 
•    Manage the electronic work pack production for Completions activities


Key Deliverables:    
•    Training and setting of user rights for all users of Completions system. 
•    Interface between Civils Completions system and MEHJV handover
•    Production of reports from Completions database and design and production of dashboards and bespoke reports where necessary
•    Population of Completions database with systemised design information and delivery documents for completions
•    Assist Construction team in the handover process of EA/BUILDING/ROOMS
•    Ensuring compliance with quality assurance requirements, supporting provision of as built surveys and Lifetime Records.


Minimum Qualifications/ Experience 
(as per MEH matrix)

•    Qualifications
•    Relevant engineering experience
•    Completions SME experience preferable in Civils handover
•    Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
•    Experience
•    Minimum 7 years’ experience in the use/management of Orbit or similar Completions database
•    Proficient in MS Excel and Word
•    Proven track record in large scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector.
•    Experienced in delivering and operating at a management level, including experience working within Joint Ventures
•    Experience in safely delivering large scale projects
•    Multi-discipline understanding is essential

•    Experience in the management and coordination of multi-discipline construction installation methodologies on significant EPC contracts.
•    A clear communicator, with clarity and positivity.
•    Handover/Commissioning experience on large scale Nuclear projects
•    Appreciation and understanding of licence conditions 

 

 

Scope:
Work as part of a multi-disciplined Completions team and manage Civils handover activities whilst using client system. First-hand knowledge of electronic completions system. Interface with MEH Construction team, main support service providers and other sub-contractors within a building.

 

Team:
Directly reporting to the Completion Manager/deputy working within a multi discipline team of Completions SME’s
