Salary : £46k to £65k

Peers specialise in the Project Management, Design, Fabrication, and Erection of Structural Steelwork Contracts within the Petrochemical, Process, Pharmaceutical, and Nuclear Industries.
DAM Structures Limited is a Yorkshire-based innovative steel fabrication company offering a comprehensive design, manufacture, and erection service for the construction industry.


Main duties : 

 

  • Conduct inspections to verify coating integrity & quality, making sure necessary adjustments or repairs are made to the standard.
  • Collaborate with engineers & maintenance personnel to determine the most effective coating solutions for each component.
  • Maintain accurate records of coating activities, including materials used, application techniques, & inspection results.
  • Follow safety procedures & ensure a safe working environment for yourself & others.
  • Give advice about the maintenance & repair of coating equipment & tools as necessary
  • Monitor & maintain levels of paint materials & tooling
  • Assist with day to day management of coatings operatives
  • Issuing/Presenting DABS & TBT's to coatings operatives


Qualificatons/Experience : 


Qualifications : 


One of the following -

  • NACE Level 2
  • ICORR Inspector Level 2                                                                                                                  
  • AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) Certificate


Experience : 

 

  • 2-5 years' experience
