What you'll be doing
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced cable termination lead r to join a world class team to manage termination activities and technically review designer deliverables.
This role would be full site based and any prospective candidate would need to be based within the delivery team.In return, you will be joining a supportive environment with regular conversations about professional development and career ambitions

 

 

As an cable termination lead, you will be accountable for:

  • Managing the delivery of SDD-4 Drawings
  • Responsible for HO1.4 Cable Termination (P8.2) from Edvance/CNEPE
  • Responsible for managing delivery of Cable Termination for a range of EAD scopes
  • Actively leading on Cable Termination for other cables from turnkey contracts
  • BoQ for Gland Delivery Orders for
  • Supporting the progress of the Lugs and other connection components Delivery Orders for
  • Reviewing design changes associated to cable termination
  • Modifying requirements and reviewing early warnings associated to cable termination
  • Interface with the completions team to ease hand over from construction to completion team.
  • Assisting with achieving the TAE Energisation milestone.
  • Technical review of designer termination design deliverables

 

 

 

Who we're looking for
Essential and desirable qualifications and experience

  • Electrical Engineering qualification
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Lead by example attitude to safety and quality.
  • Construction / industrial design management related experience.
  • Confident use of IT and MS Office software
  • Knowledge of electrical connections, terminations, glands, lugs
  • Additional Qualifications/ Experience:
  • Design and build building services management experience
  • Nuclear project experience and knowledge
  • Technical cable knowledge/qualification
  • Experience with CMPIC Software Package
  • Project scheduling and planning
