Project QHSE Officer

The Project QHSE Officer is accountable for:

•    QHSE Administration - support the QHSE Manager in the maintenance, upkeep and audits of the ISO certifications and other accreditations of the company.
•    Project Support - through early and continuous engagement with projects provide support in preparation of QHSE documentation through to on site inspections and advice.
•    Focal point - Be the 'go to' for all QHSE matters and issues whilst on site.
•    Compliance - Ensure site activities are conducted in compliance with the Osprey QHSE Management System by conducting assessments, inspections and audits of site activities and operations.
•    Communication - Work with employees, contractors and clients to understand their needs and issues as well as communicating the QHSE Management System in the correct manner.



Qualifications and Experience: 


•    NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

Any, or all, of the following qualifications are desirable;

•    IOSH membership
•    CCNSG safety passport
•    CSCS card 
•    Internal auditor qualification


•    Experience in marine, lifting and heavy haulage operations; working with ISO standards and high level management systems and working with high level (Tier 1) clients
•    Good communication skills - be able to lead and direct colleagues on QHSE
•    Strong Organisation skills - being able to manage multiple projects/activities at once
•    Confidence in Public speaking - able to deliver presentations, training and meetings
•    Leadership Skills - able to be at the forefront of Osprey activities regarding QHSE

It is desirable the successful candidate has proven experience of developing management systems, leading audits or investigations, and/or experience within key industries, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables or Civil Construction.
